• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in testing and commissioning of power utility / substation projects
• Valid TAQA Approval as Testing Engineer (Mandatory)
Requirements & Responsibilities:
• Proven experience in testing and commissioning of substations (33kV / 11kV systems preferred)
• Perform testing activities for transformers, switchgear, protection systems, control & relay panels, and associated equipment
• Preparation and review of test procedures, method statements, and test reports
• Coordinate testing and shutdown activities with client, consultant, and project teams
• Ensure compliance with TAQA standards, procedures, and safety requirements
• Interface with protection engineers and SCADA teams during energization activities
• Witnessing and documentation of pre-commissioning and commissioning tests
• Support troubleshooting and fault analysis during testing and energization
Preferred:
• Experience with TAQA / ADDC / TRANSCO projects
• Familiarity with protection relay testing and commissioning procedures
• UAE driving license will be an advantage
