The technical support engineer for web applications is responsible for debugging, identifying, and resolving issues related to web-based software platforms. He acts as the escalation point for Level 1 support and collaborates closely with the development, QA, and infrastructure teams to maintain system stability.
Transforms raw data into actionable insights by designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for data modeling, cleaning, and transformation (ETL)
• utilizing DAX and Power Query.
• Create, maintain, and optimize interactive Power BI dashboards,
• reports, and data models to visualize key performance indicators.
• Connect to various data sources (SQL, Excel, Azure) to clean,
• transform, and model data for analysis using Power Query and DAX.
• Ensure reports are accurate, efficient, and user-friendly, managing
• workspaces and data security within the Power BI service.
• Maintenance: Supporting existing IT systems, infrastructure, and
• databases.
• Collaboration: Working with senior developers, product managers,
• and testers to deliver features.
• Learning: Rapidly gaining knowledge of tools, technologies, and best
• practices.
• Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues
• related to web-based software platforms.
• Reproducing issues in test/staging environments to identify bugs or
• misconfigurations.
• Conducting detailed log analysis, SQL/database checks, and API
• validation.
Qualifications
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.

• Experience in developing frontend user interfaces and ensuring efficient database management to support business requirements.

• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ability to write basic queries.
• Power BI Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
• Data Skills: Strong SQL skills for database querying and data manipulation.
• Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, modeling).
• Education: a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and communication skills.
