Description
The Software Test Analyst’s role is to work with software designs and engineers to perform acceptance testing with software solutions.
Permanent US Residents only as we are unable to sponsor for this role.
Primarily, this is onsite but some remote work may be available. Must be local to the Pittsburgh area. This is a 6-month, contract-2-hire position..
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with team to understand features, warehousing practices and product goals
· Create, document, and run manual and automated test cases to test new features
· Create defect reports with detailed steps, environmental conditions, and other details as needed to reliably reproduce the issue
· Acquire a deep understanding of the product requirements and technologies
· Working with team coordinating testing activities for project
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
· College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering preferred
Knowledge & Experience
· Ability to adapt to changes to software
· Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage
· Consulting, analytical and problem-solving skills
