Software Tester / QA Engineer (Hybrid – Cairo)

We’re looking for a Software Tester / QA Engineer who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Mid-Level (3–5 years)
Key Responsibilities
Design, write, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements and business flows
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications
Perform various testing types:
functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT
Identify, document, and track bugs clearly using bug-tracking tools
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality standards
Participate in requirement reviews to identify test scenarios and risks early
Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release
Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and best practices
Test APIs, databases, and backend services when needed
Ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced, iterative environment
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar
Experience writing clear and well-structured test cases and test plans
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
Basic understanding of databases and SQL
Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience in F&B, POS systems, or retail solutions
Experience testing payment flows, orders, menus, discounts, or loyalty systems
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST clients, etc.)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Exposure to CI/CD and integrating automation tests into pipelines
