The QA Automation Engineer at Dinggt Technologies is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks. You will transform manual test cases into high-speed, repeatable automated scripts that ensure our software products—ranging from web platforms to mobile applications—are bug-free and performant. In Doha, this role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between “Quality” and “Speed” in an Agile/DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Framework Development: Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using modern tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
• Automated Scripting: Write clean, modular, and maintainable test scripts in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into the deployment pipeline (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps) to enable automated smoke and regression tests.
• API Testing: Conduct rigorous automated testing of RESTful APIs and microservices using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Supertest.
• Localization Testing (RTL/LTR): Ensure that software interfaces function perfectly in both English and Arabic, particularly focusing on Right-to-Left (RTL) layout stability.
• Performance & Load Testing: Execute automated performance scripts (using JMeter or k6) to ensure applications can handle high traffic volumes common in the Qatari market.
• Defect Management: Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and track bugs to resolution using JIRA or Azure DevOps Boards.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: 4–7 years in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years focused purely on Automation.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Mastery:
• Web: Mastery of Selenium Webdriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Mobile: Experience with Appium for iOS and Android automation.
• Languages: High proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Tools: Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, and SQL for database validation.
• Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level (mandatory); ISTQB Test Automation Engineer (highly preferred).
• Language: Professional English fluency is mandatory. Arabic is a significant advantage for localized UI validation.
