As a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) at Paxcom, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through manual and automated testing. You will work in a dynamic Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your role will involve designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, conducting various types of testing, and ensuring the reliability of full-stack applications.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
– Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, RestAssured, and Postman
– Collaborate with the development team to implement automation design patterns such as the Page Object Model and Page Factory
– Conduct various types of testing including unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, UI, API, performance, and security testing
– Work with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban to ensure timely delivery of high-quality code
– Utilize your strong technical skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, databases, HTML, CSS, XPath, etc., to enhance automation processes
– Conduct code reviews, analyze application base code, and align automation code with coverage strategies
– Utilize version control systems like Git and participate in collaborative workflows
– Stay updated with the latest technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes
• *Qualifications Required:**
– 3-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years focused on test automation
– Proven experience with automation tools in a team environment
– Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes
– Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL
– Experience with front-end and back-end automation frameworks
– Knowledge of testing methodologies and types
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
– Prior development experience is a plus
– Familiarity with CI/CD integration, cloud environments, and analytics tools
